Summary

Early pregnancy – when things go wrong is a resource that offers expert advice and support to women experiencing complications in early pregnancy. Sadly miscarriage occurs in about one in five confirmed pregnancies. This booklet provides information on some of the warning signs of miscarriage as well as addressing many of the concerns women and their partners have when a miscarriage occurs. This resource is part of a suite of services which are being rolled out for women as part of the early pregnancy care project. The booklet is available through general practitioners, Emergency Departments and Early Pregnancy Assessment Services.
