This guide provides information for patients and their carers about the Transport for Health Program, which includes; the Isolated Patients Travel and Accomodation Assistance Scheme (IPTAAS); the Statewide Infant Screening-Hearing (SWISH) travel; Community Transport; and Inter-facility Transport. The guide uses a Frequently Asked Questions format to inform people about the various aspects of the Transport for Health program. Contact details for the Health Transport Units in each Area Health Service are listed at the back of the guide, if people have further questions.
