Draft Advance Planning for Quality Care at End of Life: Strategic and Implementation Framework

Summary

NSW Health is developing a strategic and implementation policy framework that will integrate advance care planning into the care of patients with chronic, life-limiting illness, improve care to those approaching end of life as well as dying patients. It identifies partners across primary, community and aged care sectors. This Consultation Draft Advance Planning for Qualtiy Care at end of Life: Strategic and Implementation Framework is being widely circulated for comment to stakeholders in NSW Health, other government agencies, NGOs, Professional Colleges, and Universities. Consultation period is 6 weeks from mid-Augst till 30th September 2011. Responses to Research, Ethics and Public Health Training Branch, NSW Health.
