About the action planner

The action planner has three levels of progress in achieving full compliance with mandatory requirements, as set out in the following table.

Level of progress Description
Implementation The healthcare facility does not have an implementation process in place. The safety of staff and patients is at risk. The healthcare facility cannot remain at this level.
Compliance The implementation program sets out actions to progress full compliance with the mandatory requirements. Twelve months at this level is long enough.
Leadership The healthcare facility complies fully with the legislative and mandatory requriements.
