Winners Baxter 2004 NSW Health Awards

The very best in health care and innovation was on show at the annual Baxter NSW Health Awards held on Friday 22 October 2004 at Australian Technology Park, Redfern. Minister for Health, Morris Iemma, and NSW Health Director-General, Robyn Kruk, presented the Awards to winners in front of 390 health professionals and other guests from around the state.

This year’s Awards recognised health care workers from across the state in all disciplines and applauded those who have worked to achieve excellence and innovation in health care.

From the record 275 entries received, 125 judges chose 50 finalists in 10 categories. The Director-General also awarded six commendations. The Minister presented six inaugural Access Awards and three Minister's Awards: the Encouragement Award, the Innovation Award and the Minister’s Award.

A summary of the Awards presented on the night is listed below.
