Incident Management Policy and Guideline

The revised Incident Management Policy Directive (PD2007_061 was released on 27 July 2007.

The guideline is presented as an online guide called the Easy Guide to Clinical Incident Management.

Complaint or Concern about a Clinician

The management of complaints or concerns about a clinician is an important component of the NSW Patient Safety and Clinical Quality Program. Amendments to the Health Services Act 1997 require Chief Executives to report professional misconduct or unsatisfactory professional conduct of visiting practitioners and employees to their relevant registration board.
