International Journal for Quality in Health Care

Makes activities and research related to quality in health care available to a worldwide readership. Publishes papers in all disciplines related to the quality of health care, including health services research, health care evaluation, technology assessment, health economics, utilization review, cost containment and nursing care research, as well as clinical research related to quality of care. Also contains news of the International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua), including announcements of forthcoming courses, symposia and congresses.

Quality & Safety in Health Care

Formerly Quality in Health Care, founded in 1992. Is devoted to the the growing need for a journal that reflects the need to improve the quality and safety of health care. It is an interdisciplinary journal with international content, readership and editorial board. The journal encourages contributions from both medical and non-medical professions relating to the fields of quality and safety.

Clinical Governance: An international journal

Aims to address the doubts, queries, triumphs and practical applications of introducing quality assurance mechanisms into the delivery of care. The journal takes an international stance and covers key developments worldwide which can inform best practice in health care. Efficiency, effectiveness and economics are the main factors in the assessment of best practice and all are addressed in the research, audit and evidence-based papers published. All papers are peer reviewed to ensure their validity and value to current debates.

Health Education

Health education is in the news. Yet budgets are often tight, and with public interest in the subject growing all the time, responsible groups have to be seen to be promoting health and awareness and improving conditions and facilities throughout the community in line with the evidence base. Health Education reflects current best practice, using a multi-dimensional, multi-professional approach that relates to all settings.

Provides a forum for the international exchange of theoretical and practical aspects of quality and management in health care and helps to develop knowledge about continuous improvement and its implementation in health care organisations

Supports the development and dissemination of knowledge within health organisation and management. Prioritises critical exploration. Dedicated to analyses from a diverse range of theoretical and applied perspectives. Multi-disciplinary in scope, the Journal is a forum where innovative analyses feature strongly.

Leadership in Health Services

Provides examples of best practice, disseminating practical, relevant and timely information. Combining theoretical articles and applied case studies, the journal is an essential resource for all those researching and practising in health services.

Nutrition and Food Science

Offers readable, accessible coverage of this complex and dynamic field and also covers consumer and family health issues.
