Evaluation of the Incident Information Management System (IIMS) in New South Wales

The findings of multiple studies are presented in the following PDFs:

An evaluation of the Incident Information Management System (IIMS) in NSW was conducted by the University of New South Wales as part of the Quality & Safety Branch knowledge management strategy. The report was completed in June 2006 and is published by the Centre for Clinical Governance Research in Health, Faculty of Medicine, University of New South Wales.

Progress of the research was overseen by the Knowledge Management Steering Committee.

The methodology involved a web-based questionnaire, interviews with health services, and analysis of samples of incident data to assess aspects of the IIMS project implementation from December 2004 to May 2005.
