Summary

This new publication produced in 2009 aims to promote safety information specifically targeting expectant parents. This A4 colour booklet with a collection of fact sheets ; fulfils a significant demand for information and resources received in the Safety Centre about planning for a baby. This new resource enables parents to be informed in a highly accessible format about choosing equipment for safety, providing a safe environment and safe home practices, the standards symbol, legislative requirements and also making the right choice for nursery furniture and car seats. Thanks to The Royal Children’s Hospital Safety Centre, Melbourne for permission to reproduce their information.
