This report outlines a generic multi-disciplinary hospital flexible model for Clinical Emergency Response Systems (CERS) for the provision of basic and advanced life support for patients suffering cardio respiratory arrest as well as support for ward nursing and junior medical staff in the recognition and management of patients with the early or late signs of a deteriorating clinical condition.
