An Integrated Approach to Health Service Planning and Delivery for NSW Far North Coast and SE QLD - Summary Report of the Joint Planning Study

Summary

In December 2006, the Premiers of New South Wales and Queensland announced a joint planning study to guide inter-state measures for planning and improving certain health care and transport services in the Tweed-Gold Coast region.

The aim of the study was to identify opportunities for improved health service delivery between NSW Health and Queensland Health, in order to promote an integrated approach to service delivery for the residents of the far north coast of NSW and south east Queensland.

The following document provides a report of the Health Joint Planning Study, undertaken as part of the cross-border initiative.
