Aboriginal Health Impact Statement and Guidelines

Summary

The Aboriginal Health Impact Statement and Guidelines aims to ensure that the health needs and interests of Aboriginal people are embedded in the development, implementation and evaluation of all NSW Health initiatives.

It should be used as a tool to assist with the process of appropriate consultation and engagement with Aboriginal stakeholders through all stages of the initiative; and to ensure that the initiative adequately identifies and addresses the health effects that it will have on Aboriginal health and health services.
