The hospitalist pathway offers a flexible, interesting and attractive career to non-specialists keen to remain involved in acute patient care, while leading improvements in the co-ordination of hospital services.
The pathway will be supported by the Master of Clinical Medicine (Leadership and Management). The Masters aims to provide advanced clinical leadership and management expertise required for Senior Hospitalist positions and a range of other roles and responsibilities including: Department or Unit Director, Director of Prevocational Training, Quality Improvement and System Redesign, Clinical Governance, Director of Research or Education.
