May 2021 edition : Leading Better Value Care
A workshop held on Thursday 22 April 2021 focused on communications and engagement within the Leading Better Value Care (LBVC) Program.
The workshop was attended by staff directly involved in LBVC from the Agency for Clinical Innovation, Cancer Institute NSW and Ministry of Health NSW.
During the workshop attendees participated in a range of activities, looking at how we currently communicate with our stakeholders and defining our communication goal and purpose. Time was also spent identifying opportunities to work on over the next 6‑12 months to improve the way we communicate and engage with districts and networks about LBVC.
Some of the opportunities identified include how we can better support staff working on the program, and ensure we provide a clear and consistent message when we communicate across the clinical initiatives. The outcomes from the workshop will help to guide ongoing support provided.
This workshop is part of a wider series aimed at building a common understanding of the key activities and opportunities to collaborate and share experiences to help scale, embed and sustain the LBVC clinical initiatives.
