June 2022 edition

Value based healthcare week was held virtually from Monday 2 – Thursday 5 May 2022.

Over 580 people across NSW Health joined at least one of 10 dedicated sessions on how to embed value based healthcare across NSW.

Attendees heard from the Secretary of NSW Health, senior leaders, consumer representatives, leading clinicians, project teams and local health district and specialty health network staff.

Session topics ranged from sharing examples of value based healthcare in practice at a local level, to deep‑dive discussions on environmental sustainability or clinician leadership and engagement.

Feedback from the event has been positive – with attendees commenting on the diversity of the program and high‑quality presentations.
