Like everyone in NSW, people with disability use mainstream NSW Health services. But there are also a number of health services and initiatives particularly for people with disability. These services and initiatives are designed to provide specialised health support for people with disability, their carers and clinicians.

The Agency for Clinical Innovation and Clinical Excellence Commission offer a range of resources on disability issues including the Agency for Clinical Innovation - Intellectual Disability network and Intellectual Disability - training videos for health professionals.
