Nutrition education is an important part of the school curriculum in NSW.  Schools can do a lot to promote and encourage healthy eating for their students.  This section provides teachers and out of school hours teachers with access to teaching resources, easily accessible guidelines and links to nutrition related materials.

Government programs featured in this section include the Live Life Well @ School program which encourages primary schools to refresh their approaches to encouraging a healthy lifestyle at school and provides some resources to assist and the Crunch and Sip program which promotes increased consumption of fruit, vegies and water among students.

Guidelines like the Australian Guide to Healthy Eating are important education tools for teachers.
