This years’ NSW Health Awards were held at the Waterview in Bicentennial Park on 2 November 2015.
The Hon. Jillian Skinner MP, Minister for Health and the Hon. Pru Goward MP, Minister for Mental Health, Minister for Medical Research, Assistant Minister for Health, Minister for Women and Minister for the Prevention of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault were joined by a broad range of consumers, clinicians, academics, managers to celebrate the inspirational health initiatives and motivated individuals striving to improve the delivery of care to patients across NSW Health.
The NSW Health Awards were supported by the NSW Innovation and Health Symposium which was hosted at the same venue on 2 and 3 November, 2015. The Symposium showcased the 2015 NSW Health Awards Finalists who were selected by their peers out of 173 entries from across the state. The NSW Health Awards celebrated the award recipient across a range of categories including local solutions, translational research and integrated healthcare.
