The 2015 NSW Health Innovation Symposium “Create Tomorrow” and the annual NSW Health Awards were held at Waterview, Bicentennial Park on 2 and 3 November, 2015.

The Symposium informed, inspired and motivated participants through a rich variety of content and speakers to use innovation to improve the delivery of care to patients. It also offered the opportunity for individuals to discuss the progress of health reform in driving improvements in outcomes and performance across the NSW Health system.

Over two days The Hon Jillian Skinner MP, The Hon Pru Goward MP and Dr Mary Foley, Secretary NSW Health, joined consumers, clinicians, academics, managers and clinical support staff to discuss ground-breaking health initiatives which harness new ideas, new technologies and new approaches to the delivery of care. The Symposium also provided unique insight into the work of the 2015 NSW Health Awards Finalists, chosen by their peers out of 173 entries across the state. The recipients of the prestigious NSW Health Awards were announced at a function following the Symposium.​​​
