Karitane​ philosophy is to empower and support families and professionals caring for young children by enhancing knowledge, skills and parenting confidence.​

Karitane Website has information and resources for parents and carers around sleep and settling, establishing routines, feeding and nutrition, toddler behaviour and pre and post natal anxiety and depression. The website also has information for health professionals to refer families.

Karitane Careline (1300 CARING or 1300 227 464 or (02) 9794 2350)
The Careline is a call back service to provide support and guidance on parenting of children up to 5 years of age. Child and Family Health Nurses will call back within 24 hours between the hours of 12.30 to 9pm and 11pm and 6am Monday to Thursday, and 9.30am to 3.30pm on Friday and Saturday.

Karitane Early Parenting Store ((02) 91012488)
The Karitane Early Parenting Store offers access child and family health nurses 7 days a week with extended hours. Families can drop in for a quick chat, attend one of the daily 30 minute parenting workshops or book in for a consultations for an inpidualized parenting plan. No health professional referral is necessary, parents can self-refer booking online. Consultations incur a small fee.

Linking Families 
The service offers community programs in the Liverpool, Bankstown and Fairfield areas which include home visiting and supported playgroups. The programs supports young parents and families who may be isolated, have limited support or have minimal English skills. No referral is required. For more information, visit the Karitane Website

Karitane Parenting Centres (Camden, Liverpool and Randwick)
A team of child and family health nurses, lactation consultants, social workers and psychologists provide parenting education, support and guidance for families with children from birth to 5 years.  Phone HealthDirect on 1800 022 222.

Karitane Residential Service (Camden and Carramar)
The inpatient service is for families living in NSW with children from birth to 4 years who are experiencing parenting difficulties. The length of stay is 3 or 4 nights from Monday to Friday. Phone HealthDirect on 1800 022 222.

Toddler Clinic (Carramar or Camden)
This is an outpatient service where a team of nurses, psychologists and social workers work with families with children aged 15 months to 4 years displaying behaviour problems. Phone HealthDirect on 1800 022 222.

Jade House Perinatal Mood Disorder Clinic (Carramar or Camden) – The specialised day service supports pregnant women or those with a baby up to 12 months of age with a diagnosis of or at risk of developing a mood or anxiety disorder including pre and postnatal depression. This service is provided to parents living in the Sydney South West Local Health District area. Phone HealthDirect on 1800 022 222.
