Multilingual health information can be of assistance when working with patients, carers and communities who do not have English as a first language.

It is NSW Health policy that all translated health information produced within Local Health Districts, Health Networks, statewide services, Pillars, NSW Ministry of Health branches, and non-government organisations funded by the Ministry, be provided to the NSW Multicultural Health Communication Service for inclusion on their website. This enables a greater number of resources and supports to be shared across the health system.
