Overview
The reported rate of gestational diabetes in pregnant women who gave birth in NSW rose from 13.7% in 2018 to 16.2% in 2022. The rate of pre-existing diabetes mellitus in pregnant women who gave birth in NSW was around 0.9% over the 5-year period.
