A Suicide Prevention Alert System is a coordinated, rapid response in a local community to a person at risk of suicide.

This mobile response system ensures support is quickly dispatched and provided.

The Suicide Prevention Alert System will be trailed in locations where NSW Community Collaborative teams are already established in the local community.

Community Collaboratives have formed in regions across NSW in recent years and the localised response can lead to a greater sense of hope, wellbeing and community.

Collaborative members share experiences and help with safety, coping skills and connectedness.
