The second Whole of Health Program (WOHP) Capability Development Day focussed on the development of radical ideas and new ways of brain storming with affinity and theming to provide the skills and techniques to help teams develop new ideas.

Predictive planning using the patient flow portal and the new Emergency Access View was explored. We heard from Lisa Curtin, Patient Flow manager at Wollongong Hospital, about how they redesigned the morning bed meeting to achieve great results. We learnt about building your own personal credibility and brand to help sell your message of change and different communication styles to help frame messages, increase the effectiveness of workplace conversations, and learn to support data through story telling. We learnt that building a broad base of contacts through networking helps with stakeholder engagement.
