Measles remains a common illness in many destinations popular with Australia travellers.

People in NSW have recently been diagnosed with measles, usually after returning from overseas holiday.

Measles is highly contagious.

2 doses of measles vaccine can give you lifelong protection. If you're unsure of your vaccination record, it's safe to have another dose.

Check your vaccination history with your GP to be sure you're protected.
