NSW Health convened an Expert Review Panel to review the current governance of the Sydney Children's Hospitals Network. The panel was asked to report its observations and recommendations to the Secretary of Health.
The Expert Review Panel included three members, Dr Kathy Alexander (Chair), Dr Peter Steer and Ms Sue Peter.
Close to 500 people participated in individual or group meetings. In addition, a total of 84 written submissions were received.
The Governance Review for the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network outlines 16 recommendations.
Convened by The Hon. Brad Hazzard MP, Minister for Health and Medical Research, NSW Health conducted a Health Roundtable on Saturday 27 July 2019. This focused on the Review of the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network (SCHN) governance and the delivery of paediatric cardiac surgery.
