Care for people experiencing the most extreme behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia (BPSD) is one of the most difficult challenges in health care.
This report describes the characteristics, prevalence and current health service use of this group. It makes recommendations for NSW Health organisations to improve health services for this vulnerable group who have complex needs.
