In 2019, NSW Health commissioned Emerson Health to conduct the horizons scanning and workforce scenarios generation for the nutrition and dietetics workforce. The consultation with key stakeholders was designed to harness the views of subject matter experts. With evidence from the literature, the supply and demands drivers facing the workforce were identified. There was also insight on the challenges and opportunities to further the workforce.
The Nutrition and Dietetics Horizon Scanning Report is the result of Emerson Health work. It provides valuable information about this workforce and has identified opportunities to strengthen this workforce for NSW Health.
