The Future Workforce Unit spearheads conversations and moulds the vision for the future NSW Health Workforce. In the same stride we want to reinvent the traditional media through contemporary and imaginative methods. We wish to open minds and inspire creative futures thinking to enable us to mould the future NSW Health to be the best it can be.

The second in a series of videos to be made, join Nurse Kai, a Cardiology Clinical Nurse Consultant, as she moves through her day in the year 2040 and beyond. Kai rides a NSW Health autonomous vehicle to work allowing her to start her shift in transit and plan her day before even arriving at the hospital. Kai works in an augmented care environment alongside robots and other technologies which improve efficiency, patient handovers and connectivity. This means Kai can provide high level care without compromising the patient centred approach. Compassion, empathy and kindness still remain at the heart of her profession.
