NSW recorded no new locally acquired cases of COVID-19 in the 24 hours to 8pm last night.

Three new cases were acquired overseas, bringing the total number of cases in NSW since the beginning of the pandemic to 5,158.

There were 12,260 tests reported to 8pm last night, compared with the previous day's total of 5,510.

There were 4,743 COVID-19 vaccines administered by NSW Health in the 24 hours to 8pm last night. The total number of vaccines administered by NSW Health is now 160,637.

NSW Health is treating 55 COVID-19 cases, most of whom (96 per cent) are being treated in non-acute, out-of-hospital care, including returned travellers in the Special Health Accommodation. One person with COVID is currently in ICU for a non-COVID related medical condition.

NSW Health thanks those who have come forward for testing, and strongly urges everyone to isolate and be tested immediately if even the mildest of symptoms appear.
