We are here for you

Every day, in every part of NSW, our dedicated staff are here for you.

Every ability, age, culture, background, language, body, gender, sexuality and identity —you are welcome here. We provide a place where every individual feels valued and supported.

We are committed to treating every person in our care with kindness, respect, and compassion.

We understand that coming to hospital can be a difficult time for you, your family, carers and friends. There are many support services to help you have the best experiences and outcomes of care.

We want you to know your voice matters. Giving feedback is always safe, it helps us celebrate what works well and improve where things need to be better.

Your hospital care team

Your health care team may consist of just one or two health care professionals or it may be made up of many staff. There are three main groups of health care workers: doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals.

On your ward, the Nurse Unit Manager, or NUM, can help. If you need to raise any issues or concerns about your care, please ask to meet the NUM.

No matter their role, everyone in our hospital is here to support you with kindness, respect and care.

If you have any questions or need help at any time, please don’t hesitate to ask.
