Overview
The number of births in NSW decreased from 95,552 in 2018 to 91,634 in 2022. In 2022, 91,634 births to 90,417 mothers were reported. The percentage of multiple (twin, triplet and quadruplet) pregnancies was similar to recent years at 1.3%.
