We are committed to improving the accessibility of communications. This means ensuring everyone understands the information you are sharing.
This can include developing information using:
- plain English
- Easy Read
- alternative text
- captions
- transcripts
- audio descriptions
- Auslan.
It also considers cultural and language differences which may impact a person's understanding or interpretation.
About
The Accessible Communications Community of Practice aims to bring together NSW Health staff to share knowledge and experience in developing and delivering best practice accessible communications.
