NSW Health has developed the Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) Sector Employee Value Proposition (EVP) to attract and retain talent in the AOD sector. NSW Health has also developed the NSW Health EVP – designed to position NSW Health as an employer of choice. These two EVPs integrate to help NSW Health attract and retain AOD staff.
These guidelines help NSW Health staff to understand and implement the integrated NSW Health and AOD EVPs. By implementing these guidelines, NSW Health aims to build a competent and capable AOD workforce, improve treatment outcomes, and reduce stigma associated with AOD services.
