Summary

The Youth Health Competency Framework describes the competencies required by health service providers to provide optimal health care for young people. It does not cover advanced and specialist competency areas, such as mental health, sexual health, addiction and chronic illness.

The framework is intended to be used as a tool for use in activities such training, staff selection and supervision, and performance review. ​​
