NSW Health thanks the community for continuing to come forward for testing and following public health advice.

Despite there having been no locally acquired cases in recent weeks, it is important that everyone maintains their guard and continues to watch out for any signs that could indicate COVID-19.

With new cases being regularly detected among overseas arrivals, there is still a risk of COVID-19 spreading into the NSW community.

It is critical that everyone continues to come forward for testing if they have even the mildest of cold-like symptoms.

NSW Health is treating 38 COVID-19 cases, one of whom is in intensive care but does not require a ventilator. Most cases (89 per cent) are being treated in non-acute, out-of-hospital care, including returned travellers in the Special Health Accommodation.

There are more than 350 COVID-19 testing locations across NSW, many of which are open seven days a week. To find your nearest clinic visit COVID-19 clinics or contact your GP.
