The NSW Population Health Survey (the Survey) is an annual survey that monitors the health and the risks of the people of NSW. The Survey provides information on the risks and behaviours such as smoking, vaping, illicit drug use, physical activity, alcohol consumption, fruit and vegetable consumption, and overweight and obesity at a local health district level. The information from the Survey is used across the state of NSW to help inform health service planning and delivery, and to monitor the progress of key strategic initiatives.
The Survey is conducted either by telephone or online. Some questions and/or instructions have been adapted where necessary for clarity according to the mode of administration.
