Financial Planning and Analytics plays a lead role in establishing and maintaining NSW Health cluster financial data governance, reporting frameworks and processes and is the authoritative source of advice on financial data, analytics and reporting.
The branch delivers all NSW Health cluster reporting to NSW Treasury, including State Outcome performance reporting and financial oversight of the NSW Health capital program. It also provides performance leadership by identifying, implementing and championing initiatives to optimise the efficiency and effectiveness of the Health system.
The branch partners with all LHDs and pillars in the Health system to deliver sustainable outcomes, leading system wide improvement initiatives, and develops and maintains effective cross government working relationships.
