"Dear diary,

I just want to say how incredibly grateful I am to have this amazing job that allows me to travel for work and explore all these amazing places NSW has to offer.

Northern Rivers is beyond spectacular. I love working on the Paediatric ward here and even have a few long lost friends up here.

I’ve been so busy exploring the surrounding regions on my days off that I’ll need to come home for a holiday! I’ve been to markets in Nimbin and Byron Bay, exploring beautiful beaches, trekked through the rainforest to spectacular waterfalls, cycled 50km on an ebike through the spectacular Tweed Hinterland and even went whale watching.

Oh and I’ve also crossed the border twice to do two patient retrievals from Queensland Children’s Hospital in Brisbane.

I just love every single minute of my deployments and feel so lucky."
