Leonie Parker provides clinical gynaecology and Women’s Health services for small rural communities with high Aboriginal populations in Western N.S.W. (Aboriginality disclosed ABS 2016, NSW 2.9% and Condobolin >22%). Leonie directs her care to women of lower socioeconomic groups and those women who are most vulnerable. Leonie gains the respect and confidence of some of our most marginalised women and provides access to timely care in the areas of prevention, contraception, cervical screening, pre cancer and overall women’s health. Her dedication to open communication and transparency, is evident in the successful patient and collegial relationships she has maintained over many years in the interest of improving health outcomes for her patients.
 
Leonie’s work as a Nurse Practitioner for the past 13 years has provided the community of Condobolin and surrounding rural and remote villages with a sustainable service in colposcopy that has been recognised internationally.
