The Health Services Act 1997 provides for the making of Model By-laws, which establish a core set of governance provisions for local health districts, specialty health networks, chief executive governed statutory health corporations and board governed statutory health corporations. The Model By-laws are made by the Health Secretary and published on the NSW Legislation website.
