Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) covers an area of 780 square kilometres.

In 2021 the estimated population was 1,144,280 residents, and over the decade to 2031, the overall population is projected to increase to 1,467,610. 

WSLHD is a leader in clinical services, research and education providing a diverse range of public healthcare services across more than 70 sites including Westmead, Auburn, Cumberland, Blacktown and Mount Druitt hospitals as well as a network of comprehensive integrated care and community-based services.
