The Net Zero Hubs (2024-2027) is an Australian-first program establishing multi-disciplinary teams to lead decarbonisation activities in clinical carbon hotspots across NSW Health. We know that more than half of health’s carbon footprint is from clinical care.
Paediatric services are recognised as a key emission hotspot. Based at the Sydney Children's Hospitals Network (SCHN), the Net Zero Paediatric hub is delivering decarbonisation activities to support the transition to a high-quality, low-carbon and climate resilient health system. The Net Zero Paediatric Hub is led by Dr Louisa Swain, Felicity Wright and Natalie Hooke.
The Net Zero Paediatric Hub provides project case studies, resources and implementation guidance for NSW Health paediatric staff.
