Anyone can experience domestic and family violence (DFV) and it is important NSW Health workers are able to respond to disclosures of violence. Supportive and safe initial responses can be crucial for enabling immediate and longer-term support for victim-survivors.
This resource supports health workers to respond to disclosures of violence in ways that women identify as helpful. It was developed as part of NSW Health's Domestic Violence Routine Screening (DVRS) Implementation Review project and through a co-design process with victim-survivors of DFV and NSW Health clinicians.
