Shared Understanding Project consultation insights report

Increasing growth and demand pressures, new technologies, and changing community needs and expectations require health systems to deliver care more efficiently in different ways - while maintaining safety, access, equity, and positive experiences and outcomes for patients, carers, the community and staff.

This Consultation Insights Report details the consultation activities undertaken for the Shared Understanding Project and summarises key insights from the engagement sessions. It presents an analysis of the input and comments from more than 300 individuals from across NSW.

The feedback in this report reflects both consultation and engagement experiences with health services and the health system more broadly, acknowledging the distinct role each plays in fostering community involvement and understanding.
