Summary

Translating Genomics Research into Clinical Practice: A NSW Health framework for researchers and clinicians aims to address the gap between genomics research and clinical practice and enable the appropriate and consistent translation of genomics for the benefit of the NSW population.

The framework was developed in collaboration with health and medical researchers, research and innovation managers from NSW Health Precincts, policymakers, and industry stakeholders from across the genomics ecosystem.

The implementation of this framework is a priority initiative articulated within the NSW Health Genomics Strategy Implementation Plan 2021-25. The framework represents NSWs ongoing commitment to expedite translation of safe and effective genomics innovations into the NSW public health system to realise the vision of the NSW Health Genomics Strategy.
