Supervision training - On Demand Modules

​​​​​​​These on-demand core series courses offer participants the opportunity to learn in a secure virtual environment. Through webinar attendance, interactive exercises, case studies, and simulated scenarios, build the confidence and expertise needed for success in your role.

The supervision package includes:

  • neurodivergent affirming supervision
  • models and theories of supervision
  • navigating supervision excellence
  • solution-focused self-care.

The putting theory into practice series covers:

  • professional identity
  • conducting an assessment
  • reflective practice
  • risk assessment and case formulation
  • interviewing skills
  • thriving as a supervisee: making the most out of supervision.

On demand, available to complete at your own pace.

Eligibility

While this content was originally developed for early career social workers, it is open to all AOD workers.

This training is fully funded by NSW Health for the alcohol and other drugs workforce in NSW and includes people working in non-government services, NSW Health and Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations. There may be some availability for people working in related sectors such as mental health or prevention of violence and neglect.
