Caroline Skidmore: I’d like to acknowledge the traditional owners of the land, the Ngunnawal people, and pay my respects to elders past and present.

I really believe in the program and I advocate it, and I took a bit of a leadership role.

The most important thing is supporting the family and c​arers, and also the patients, that when they’re quite worried and concerned, we’re there to hold their hands and reassure them.

I’m always happy when I see them smiling and relaxing, and just engaging with everybody.​​​​​
