Carol Azzopardi: I’d like to do acknowledgement to country. Today we are filming on Awabakal land, and I’d like to pay my respects to elders past and present.

Angela Boulton: We streamlined our induction of labor protocol. We halved the time that people were admitted, following evidence-based guidelines. We halved the number of women who we thought were receiving substantive care in our unit.

We dropped the number of people who needed medical review from 50 per cent to 30 per cent.

We reduced those who couldn’t be transferred in a timely manner from 30 per cent, down to 0.02 per cent.​​​​​​​
