Applications open 9am Monday 14 December 2026.

February

Applications close 11:59pm Sunday 21 February 2027.

Applicants must apply for a paid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) at Service NSW by Sunday 22 February 2027.

Nursing and Midwifery Office sends the recommended applicants to local health districts and specialty health networks by Friday 26 February 2027

Applicants prepare to bring to interview:​

• a NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance number for paid work
• evidence of current immunisation in accordance with NSW Health policy, including evidence of COVID-19
• identification.

March

• Interviews conducted in 2026 between 1 and 22 March 2027.
• All candidates notified of recruitment outcome by Monday 29 March 2027.
